Schedule

The Schedule page is where you create, edit, and manage shifts. Only organization owners can access it. You can work by location, use a weekly view, and assign workers to shifts. Workers see their own shifts in the worker app.

Location picker and weekly view

At the top you choose a location. The main content shows a weekly schedule for that location. You can switch between locations to see or edit shifts per site. The view loads shifts for the selected week; you can change the week with the navigation controls.

Creating a shift

To create a shift:

  1. Select the location (if not already selected).
  2. Open the create-shift flow — usually via a “Add shift” or similar button, or by clicking a time slot on the weekly grid.
  3. Set date, start time, and end time.
  4. Choose the location (often pre-filled from the picker).
  5. Optionally assign a worker from the list (or leave unassigned and assign later).
  6. Save. The shift appears on the schedule and, when assigned, in the worker’s app.

You may have the option to use shift templates to quickly create recurring patterns. See the flow Creating shifts for a step-by-step guide.

Editing and deleting a shift

Click an existing shift on the weekly view to open it. From there you can change the date, time, location, or assigned worker, or delete the shift. Changes are reflected immediately for workers in their schedule view.

Assigning workers

When creating or editing a shift, you can assign one worker per shift. The list of workers may be filtered by location so you only see employees who work at that site. You can also use the “Auto-assign” panel (if available) to suggest or fill assignments based on your rules. Assignments are visible in the worker app under their Shifts section.

How workers see their shifts

Workers open the worker app (after login) and go to the Shifts view. They see only the shifts assigned to them, with date, time, and location. They can check in at the location via QR check-in. If they need to change or swap a shift, they submit a shift change request, which you approve or deny from the dashboard.

Shift change requests

Workers can request shift swaps or changes. You review and approve or deny these on the Shift requests page. Approving may reassign the shift to another worker or update the schedule; denying leaves the original shift as is.
