Monitoring
The Monitoring page gives you real-time visibility into who is checked in, who is on shift, and where. Only owners can access it. You see currently checked-in workers, a breakdown by location, recent activity (check-in/check-out/breaks), and urgent alerts. Use it for day-to-day oversight without opening the full Analytics or Schedule.
Who’s checked in
A list or grid shows currently checked-in workers. Each entry typically includes:
- Worker name and contact (e.g. email)
- Location where they checked in
- Check-in time and shift start/end time
- Whether they are on break (and break start time or duration if shown)
You can see at a glance who is on site and who might be on break. Data updates when workers check in, check out, or start/end breaks (live or after a short refresh).
Location breakdown
A summary by location shows how many people are checked in, how many were expected (e.g. from the schedule), how many are on break, and how many are missing. This helps you spot understaffed or overstaffed sites quickly.
Recent activity
A recent activity feed lists the latest events: check-in, check-out, break start, break end. Each line usually shows the worker name, location, and time. Use it to verify who just arrived or left and to troubleshoot discrepancies.
Alerts
If the app supports urgent alerts, they may appear on this page, for example:
- Workers late today (scheduled to start but checked in late or not yet)
- Missing workers (scheduled but not checked in)
- Workers on break for too long
Addressing these alerts helps you keep shifts running smoothly. You can refresh the page or use an auto-refresh/live toggle if available to keep data up to date.
How to use it for oversight
Open Monitoring at the start of the day or during shift changes to see who is present. Combine it with the Schedule to confirm that assigned workers have checked in. Use the location breakdown to balance staff across sites and the activity feed to resolve “did they clock in?” questions quickly.
