PTO ciklus

This flow covers the full PTO (time off) lifecycle: admin sets policies, worker submits a request, admin approves or denies, and worker sees status and balance. For page-level details, see PTO policies and Leave requests (admin), and Time off (worker).

1. Admin sets PTO policy (Settings)

Admin: Go to SettingsPTO policies. Create one or more policies: name (e.g. “Annual leave”, “Sick leave”), days per year (or period), carry-over rules, and optionally set holidays. Assign the policy to employees (e.g. when adding or editing an employee). Workers with an assigned policy will see their balance and can request time off.

2. Worker submits a PTO request

Worker: In the worker app, open the PTO (Time off) tab. View your balance (if shown). Tap Request time off. Select dates, choose the type (e.g. vacation, sick) if you have multiple policies, add an optional note, and submit. The request is sent to the approver and appears as pending.

3. Admin sees the leave request and approves or denies

Admin: Go to Leave requests. The pending tab lists requests (worker, dates, type). Click Approve to accept: the worker’s balance is reduced (if the policy uses balance), and the dates are marked as time off. Click Deny to reject: the worker sees the denial and the balance is unchanged. You can also use the PTO calendar tab to see who is off when.

4. Worker sees status (and balance/history)

Worker: In the PTO tab, the request status updates to approved or denied. The balance (days left) updates after approval. You can see a list or calendar of your requests and, if the app shows it, history of past requests. Approved time off appears on the admin’s PTO calendar and in reporting.
